Service Description
Research by Hannah Williamson at UTAustin reveals that relationship success during the pandemic was largely predicted by communication skills. Whether couples struggled during the last year, there has certainly been more “togetherness” than ever before for many families. Even married couples who would work from home prior to the pandemic were forced to also educate their children during that time. Communication rose to the awareness of many families in a way not seen in recent history. There is a tremendous body of research that helps us understand how to successfully communicate in our families. This class covers these skills: · Listening · Silence · Nagging · Language choices · Gratitude · Expectations
